This is a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition, revenue growth and retention objectives, in collaboration with our dedicated distribution partner in Canada.The SSP vertical is an innovative and entrepreneurial place to work. In addition to the responsibilities below, the successful candidate will be able to support any number of tasks as required, associated with marketing, implementation, billing, and others as they arise. Learning#39;on the job #39; will be key.Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Work collaboratively with distribution partner team to identify growth opportunities and surpass collective targets
  • Achieve personal financialamp; non-financial targets through targeted prospecting via phone and internet
  • Source sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up (new prospects)
  • Make outbound calls to warm leads (ex., from client marketing events) and dormant accounts to cultivate relationships that ensure long-term customer retention and future sales opportunities
  • Initiate and maintain contact with organizational prospects and/or third party advisors, delivering proposals and presentations in conjunction with distribution partner
  • Provide research, editing and project management support to sales proposals
  • Conduct research to understand market opportunities, understand client needs and consultatively engage clients with the most applicable solutions
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Utilize the CRM to report regional sales activities, update client data, manage sales reporting and maintain an accurate forecast of regional sales opportunities at all times
  • Provide administrative sales support to business generating activities across the region
Succeeding in this role will require the following core qualifications and skills:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2-4 years #39; experience in the field or related area; experience in a B2B environment selling professional services considered an asset
  • Strong sales ability
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • High personal self-motivation
  • Professional demeanor, with strong verbal and written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns and overcome objections
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Effective organizationalamp; time management skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and engaging levels of enthusiasm
