The Senior Analyst will play a key role in refining the existing program and developing an application tool to administer the program. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, creative thinker who feels passionate about continuous improvement, supporting our business and being Better Every Day.What you will do:

  • Act as the program owner of the Nitrogen Operations Continuous Improvement program
  • Work with site stakeholders to promote their continuous improvement projects through various channels
  • Working with site decision support Develop and implement benefit measurement techniques for Continuous Improvement projects
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices, create relationships, and develop processes and tools to further the journey to be Better Every Day
  • Actively assist in the design, testing and roll out of the Work Plan Manager software application for Continuous Improvement ideas, management, and benefit tracking
  • Support the long term plan activities with prioritization and alignment between operations and central groups
  • Assist centralized groups and sites manage their plans, including alignment and updates
  • Develop strong relationships with key business partners including the Nitrogen Operating sites and centralized groups (HR, Engineering, Technology, Capital, Environmental etc.)
  • Complete ad hoc data analysis, projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Support the Plant Leaders Council (PLC) process through governance, meeting preparation, facilitation, and decision capture
  • Participate in a communication team supporting Better Every Day messaging and activities
  • Create presentations for senior leadership
  • Provide change management support, including development and deployment of methodologies, tools, processes, and training to support the change
What you will bring:
  • Post secondary education is required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of broad work experience with demonstrated skills in change management, software implementation, continuous improvement, and project management
  • Ability to self-start and manage own tasks towards a larger goal
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Power Point and Excel
  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Excel Data Query and Power BI preferred
  • Experience in Nitrogen or Phosphate production is considered an asset
