Job Description

You will provide advice, consultation, and leadership to business leaders to ensure the smooth functioning of the company #39;s daily operations. In collaboration with various business units, you will deliver high-quality, compliant, and best-practice solutions. You will identify core needs and executes HR strategies and programs that align with our corporate and HR goals. You will play a crucial role in fostering a productive and engaged workforce by promoting effective communication and conflict resolution while upholding legal and ethical standards.You will bring at least 8 years #39; progressive experience with Human Resources and at least 4 years in a management capacity with direct reports.What would you be doing

  • Provide leadership and direction to the HR team to ensure the organization receives a high level of customer-driven professional HR service.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with business leaders to align HR practices and initiatives with business needs.
  • Develop HR policies, procedures, and practices in line with legal requirements and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist HR Business Partners in resolving complex employment-related issues, including interpretation of company policies and procedures, recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations, terminations, and training and development.
  • Provide strategic direction and advice to business leaders on employment-related issues such as organizational design, policy interpretation, recruitment strategy, performance management, workforce planning, and training and development.
  • Support business leaders in handling difficult or complex employee relations matters, including mediation, coaching, progressive discipline, leaves management, suspensions, investigations, and terminations.
  • Analyze and utilize data related to performance and retention to identify opportunities for process and procedure improvement and advise management on identified trends.
  • Partner with key stakeholders within and outside the team, including Recruitment, Total Rewards and Talent Development, and Payroll, to support the delivery and deployment of HR programs and processes, as well as cross-functional initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices by providing input in the design, development, and implementation of new or enhanced company-wide HR initiatives and programs. This includes enhancing employee trust, communication, engagement, growth, and retention.
Does this sound like you
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management (Equivalent education and experience will be considered).
  • Preferred: CPHR designation.
  • Knowledge of employment law and legislation.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative working environment and establish effective working relationships with business partners, employees, and business unit leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others cross-functionally, cross-regionally, and outside the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Business acumen and experience in executing HR strategy.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a strong organizational focus.
  • Proficiency in HRM software and tools.
