Keyera Career OpportunityJob Type:PermanentTHE POSITIONKeyera is currently seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our Calgary based IT Corporate Solutions team. Reporting to the Team Lead, IT Corporate Solutions, you would be integral in building transformation throughout the organization while maximizing return on investment in alignment with Keyera #39;s corporate strategy and objectives. The position would be based in our Calgary office and would require you to travel occasionally (as needed) to our facilities and sites in Alberta.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather, analyze, and map data of existing business processes with the ability to identify gaps and provide recommendations for continuous improvement while building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders such as: Finance, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Human Resources, Healthamp; Safety, Sustainability, Legal, Communications, Internalamp; External Relations, and many more as required
• Build, design and drive transformation through management of change based on business requirements, return on investment and alignment with Keyera #39;s strategies
• Identify, document, and communicate strategic technical strategies such as consolidating systems and building IT technical road maps to help drive efficiency and ensure sustainability
• Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions including the ability to design, debug, and compile performance analysis
• Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions
• Advocating for process improvements and helping develop solutions
• Regularly communicating new features and benefits to stakeholders
• Providing technical leadership to a team throughout the project lifecycle for enhancements and capital projects
• Develop proof-of-concept pilots to validate proposed solutions including reviewing and validating solution designs from team members and stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor #39;s or post-graduate degree - Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Business Analyst Certification or Project Management Certification is an asset

SKILLSamp; EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years #39; working as a business analyst
• Expert at creating process maps and data models
• Expert working on IT projects that involve business process, data, and transformation
• Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures
• Able to follow Keyera internal processes including building in depth Project Charters and gaining stakeholder buy in to approve case for change
• Sufficient technical knowledge to understand enterprise architecture and integrations between multiple systems and applications
• Understanding of midstream energy companies is considered an asset
