OverviewHexagon Autonomy and Positioning (A amp;P) is looking for a Senior Network Analyst to work as part of a knowledgeable and skilled team that operates a global network of cloud and on premise network infrastructure. In this position, you will deploy, configure, and monitor and maintain the underlying network components of on premise and cloud-based services, platforms, and applications.While part of the IS Network team, this position will join a high-performance international infrastructure team focused on delivering secure, reliable and scalable infrastructure services that underpin the technology deployment and development of an organisation that customers depend on across multiple continents.The Company: Hexagon is a global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies. Within the Autonomyamp; Positioning division, your work will contribute to the operation of our brands NovAtel, AutonomouStuff, VERIPOS and Antcom.The Location: This hybrid position is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Manager infrastructure and Cloud Operations , the Senior Network Analyst will be part of a team that:

  • Manage and maintain the company #39;s global network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This includes both traditional on premise switched networks and cloud networking platforms that enable user connectivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize network solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities, perform system updates and implement security measures to protect against potential threats within the network environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and VoIP issues raised within the ITSM tool, providing timely support to end-users and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to network infrastructure, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in network technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and security.
QualificationsMust-Have:
  • Bachelor degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years working in a network analyst/engineer role.
  • Experience with SDWAN implementations.
  • Experience with Cloud networking infrastructure.
  • Experience with Juniper switching equipment and firewalls.
  • Solid experience in network security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
