Job Description

Required Qualifications

  • 15 years of related Transportation project experience in any of the specialty areas represented by the group.
  • 10 years in staff leadership, pursuit and/or project management experience.
  • 10 years with business development and client management
  • Positive Western Canada marketplace experience is required.
  • A positive professional reputation as one who can win projects primarily in the Alberta market and secondarily in the BC market.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain clients in consulting industry.
  • Existing network of clients in the Alberta market space is essential, and British Columbia market space is beneficial.
  • Self-starter; good communication and people skills.
  • Success in initiating and managing growth.
  • 5 years of prior consulting experience
  • Must work cooperatively with the Market Sector Leadership, Department Leadership, Office Managers as well as other Regional Managers and staff.
  • Must be committed to quality and improvement and promoting HDR #39;s values.
  • Must develop and lead areas strategic direction in line with the overall sectors vision for growth and profitability.
  • Candidates who reside locally in the Calgary market are preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally to support various HDR offices - primarily in Alberta and British Columbia.

  • Preference given to candidates local to Calgary.
