This team work on a variety of projects across the organization through the application of data, analytics, and predictive modeling. If you #39;re passionate about data and want to work with people who provide insights into our most complex challenges through advanced analytics, this role is for you!Note: The application deadline for this position is 11:59 PM MST Sunday, November 26, 2023.Responsibilities

• Solve key business problems including but not limited to data integration, predictive maintenance, subsurface analytics, process optimization, and time series forecasting
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, and data visualizations
• Develop and maintain machine learning models and algorithms
• Develop and maintain data science tools and libraries
• Assist in the design and development of proof of concepts and prototypes.
• Analyze datasets too large or complex to be handled by traditional data-processing methods.

Qualifications

• Legally entitled to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
• Available to begin work in January 2024
• Knowledge in code development, Git, R, Python, Spark, or SQL would be considered as asset.

Education

• Must be enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering or Data Science Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
• Candidates currently enrolled in either masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered

Skills / Competencies

• Ability to work cohesively in a team while capable of completing tasks independently as required
• Ability to collaborate with business partners and build solutions
• Excellent analytical/modeling and communication skills
