The individual will be responsible for the adjudication of the credit approval process and security management for multiple business areas of ENMAX. This role also requires the ongoing monitoring and reporting of credit exposures.Apply your academic knowledge in a practical work environment and see how your ideas and research make a difference.  Build a solid portfolio of skills and a vast network of valuable contacts throughout ENMAX.This position is part of the 2024 ENMAX Summer Student Program. This 16-week program demonstrates ENMAX #39;s commitment to invest in our future workforce and supports youth in building beneficial career skills. To be eligible applicants must be enrolled in a full-time degree or diploma program at an accredited post-secondary institution and must be returning full-time in the fall.Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the Indigenous strategy implementation to support workforce diversity, supply Perform credit analysis on new and existing counterparties, customers, vendors and partners (includes evaluating credit rating data, market data and financial statement analysis). Recommend credit limits and escalate for approval in accordance with ENMAX Credit Policy
  • Monitor credit exposures against approved credit limits. Investigate over-limit situations and recommend risk mitigation strategies where appropriate.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing security instruments such as Letter of Credit and Parental Guarantees
  • Identify aged accounts receivable balances that require escalation.
  • Working Capital Reporting on aged receivables
Education Required:
  • Currently enrolled in a Degree or Diploma program in a Business, Finance or a related discipline and will be returning to full time school following the work term
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong mathematical modelling and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
