You #39;ll focus on identifying and prioritizing sustainability issues, setting goals that support alignment and integration of the sustainability vision into overall corporate strategy, and implementing processes, controls, systems, and dashboards to measure progress for consistent and accurate reporting.Meaningful work you #39;ll be part ofAs a Sustainability Risk and Reporting, Manager, with a focus on Supply Chain, you #39;ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to the risk assessment related to ESG data and reporting
  • Design and Execute work plans and procedures addressing these risks
  • Apply analytical skills and specialist knowledge with our world-class client base
  • Collaborate with our team of subject matter experts to provide insights and relevant recommendations to our clients
  • Assist our clients in their reporting and assurance journey by conducting materiality assessments, gap assessments, benchmarking and presenting opportunities for improvement in the reporting chain
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to our clients including members of the ESG reporting team and other relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute effectively to complex, multi-disciplinary projects - often supporting several projects at a time
  • Helping our clients improve the way they operate, reduce costs, manage risks
  • Supporting client deliverables in a timely manner
  • Support internal and external thought leadership
  • Providing services to household names in a diverse range of industries - everyone from big-name broadcasters to multinational banks, telecoms operators and energy companies.
  • Supporting client deliverables in a timely manner through excellent project management skills
  • Managing and coaching junior resources
  • Business development activities such as assistance in preparation of budgets and proposals and initiating marketing of services to new and existing clients
Experiences and skills you #39;ll use to solve
  • Significant experience leading assurance projects, including financial audit engagements, conducted for complex organizations such as public and private companies with international operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and at least two (2) years working experience in the implementation, maintenance, or auditing of the following applicable areas:
  • Environmental management systems, including but not limited to biodiversity conservation, water stewardship, and impact assessments
  • Labor, industrial relations, and human resources management systems
  • Social impact assessments and human rights due diligence in accordance with the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights
  • Community relations and stakeholder engagement
  • Foundational knowledge in sustainability and application of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), SASB, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 26000
  • Excellent technical skills with respect to assurance and reporting demonstrated by a combination of qualifications (CPA, ISO Auditor Certification, or equivalent) and projects record
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and handling large amounts of data
  • A mindset of continuous learning in the fast-evolving ESG space
  • Considerable professional experience in the following relevant sectors including accounting and auditing, professional services, consulting, and supply chain.
  • Excellent critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong research, analytical and report writing skills
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives
PwC BC Region Pay Range InformationThe salary range* for this position is $82,300 CAD - $137,000 CAD, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.

Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location.
