Job Description

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring French Language Teachers to provide customized lessons in person to our young clients in Saguenay, QC.Job Information:Reference: 177852 : Face-to-face French for 15-year-old boy

  • Location: The student #39;s home [near Fabourg Sagamie, Jonquière, QC G7S 0C2]
  • Preferred start date:As soon as possible
  • Lesson Frequency: 2x a week, ideally on Monday and Wednesday from 5 pm - 6.30 pm
  • Current target language level:Low-intermediate (writing and reading) - Intermediate (speaking and listening skills)
  • Native and other spoken languages: English - French
  • Student’s language needs and goals:The student can speak French and communicate well with teachers and peers. He faces the expected difficulties when he listens to native speakers (speed, pronunciation), but he can handle them already. However, his main weaknesses are related to writing and reading.
Responsibilities:
  • Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
  • Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
  • Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
  • Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
  • Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
  • Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience
  • Experience teaching children and teenagers is a must
