Job DescriptionFor it`s head office and under the responsibility of the divisional controller, Techo-Bloc is seeking an Assistant Controller who will become the resource-expert for all that concerns the analysis and the management for the accounting operations of the divisions to which he will have the responsibility.A day in a life:In your dynamic role as an Assistant Controller, your day kicks off with a much-needed caffeine boost, diving into financial statement review for your designated territory before presenting to upper management; highlighting the monthly story that occurred. Collaborating closely with the Controller, you craft an annual budget, analyzing information and forecasting financial landscapes. The afternoon brings active participation in monthly meeting with Production Managers, reviewing spending, headcountsamp; upcoming capital investments to improve efficiency in the Plant. Amidst these tasks, you seize the opportunity to learn directly from the owners in weekly meetings, gaining invaluable insights into the company #39;s strategic vision. Then, the spotlight shifts to a crucial task – assisting the Controller in the AX 365 migration, reviewing business processes for a seamless transition to the new system. As the day wraps, you get a call from the Fleet Manager asking for an updated review of the company’s fleet expenses to begin preparation for new Forklift purchases for the coming year.In your role, your key responsibilities will include:Financial Statement Responsibilities

  • Assist the controller in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and notes in the Financial Statements;
  • Track and reconcile the fixed assets;
  • Participate actively in the end-of-month and year-end process with the external auditors;
  • Follow thequot;transfer pricing quot; for redistributed transactions in other legal entities;
  • Track prepaid fees, current receivables, monthly installments;
  • Reconcile all forms of ledgers (inventory, AP, AR, sale);
  • F/X Reassessment of payable, receivable, bank account in other currencies;
  • Validation of payroll variances;
  • Redistribute costs shared between related companies.
  • Calculate and track monthly provisions.
Financial Analysis Responsibilities
  • Assist the controller in the preparation of the annual budget jointly with the departmental directors;
  • Calculate bonus payouts for various department based on objectives;
  • Assist the controller in various financial analysis (inventory, sales, COGS, margin, insurance companies, process improvements);
  • Participate in monthly meetings with Operation Managers;
  • Participate with the controller in the migration to AX 365.
