Job Description

Title: Aviation Claims AdjusterStatus: Permanent, Full-timeLocation: St-Lambert, QuebecSalary: Competitive + Benefits + BonusTO APPLY: Please send your resume to [email protected]Responsibilities:

  • Review reports from all external sources. Analyze, investigate, and assess claims to determine coverages and claim provisions.
  • Prepare reports for technical and non-technical clients.
  • Identify and communicate claims trends and account or policy issues to management as well as underwriting and risk departments. Write comprehensive reports as required.
  • Willing and motivated to receive training in aviation to understand the industry of the aviation.
  • Manage the litigation process by engaging and supervising attorneys. Adhere to dispute guidelines.
  • Meeting with executives in the aviation industry.
  • Aviation claims adjuster is a technical field position, the candidate is responsible for investigation and/ or Liability.
Requirements:
  • Advanced level of English and French – oral and written
  • Minimum 5 years of claims adjuster experience
  • Claims adjustment certificate from the AMF Québec, in good standing
  • Aviation background / industry experience an asset
  • Proven superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and negotiation skills
