Ensure project execution in line with QCDT objectives. Support global supplier Panel relationship (Supplier workload, negotiation, Specific agreement)Your responsibilities will include:Supplier relationship

  • Support global supplier panel relationship
  • Manage specific supplier panel relationship (negotiation, specific agreement, local supplier QCDT performances)
  • Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues
  • Manage initial issues before escalation to line manage
  • Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines
Commodity support on site
  • Consolidate commodity needs, inputs
  • Actively participate in the commodity strategy and panel elaboration
  • Provide imputes to build differentiation
  • Support of Commodity Manager in tender phase
  • Represent the commodities towards projects, platforms and solutions.
  • Effectively teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
  • Apply the Alstom Sourcing process, and provide return on experience.
Involvement in projects
  • Coordinate project with all Metiers
  • Preparate and launch of Request For Quotation with suppliers using the standard tool
  • Lead project negotiation
  • Monitor sourcing project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)
  • Ensure work package sheet commitment respect
  • Prepare Business Award
  • Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
As our ideal candidate:
  • You attend Business School or Engineering school and have a MASTER in Purchasing
  • You will be fluent English & International background is a must
  • You will have 2 to 5 years of experience in industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, ability to convince)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Internal and external influencing skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commodities in area of specialization
  • You will excel at Negotiation
  • Team work
  • Willingness to take initiative
