A Day in the LifeAs a Canning Line Operator, you will travel to different customer locations to help those customers get their products packaged in cans. You will work as a team with the customer employees in an interesting and ever-changing environment. Mobile canning equipment will be loaded in the truck every morning and unloaded at the customers facility, and the opposite done at the end of the day. Operators are not only interacting with the product and with the machinery but also with the customers. The Canning Line Operator is the last line of defense for quality control before a canned product leaves a facility and goes out on the shelves.Responsibilities & DutiesLoad, set up, take down and unload equipment at the start and end of canning runsMix sanitizing chemicals to clean and sanitize canning equipmentComplete and record all quality assurance checksOperate the depalletizer to provide the canning line with a steady supply of cans.
