LGM develops solutions that are win-win for all stakeholders including consumers, dealers, OEMs/manufacturers and underwriters.The Work:The Claims Adjuster is responsible for automotive warranty claims loss adjusting and facilitating various program administration tasks, while providing exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service via telephone and written correspondence to customers who have purchased our product, auto dealerships selling our product and repair facilities that service our customers
    • Monitor customer service queues (phone, email, online and live chat)
    • Facilitate claim adjusting process to meet department service level agreements and underwriting commitments
    • Liaise with Finance Department and Dealer Support Team, as necessary
    • Uphold Service Level Agreements and best practice standards

    Required Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Effective and efficient at multi-tasking
    • Courteous and professional telephone manner
    • Proficient with MS Office suite of products
    • Bilingual (English/French) oral and written is an asset
    • Ability to analyze overall damage to determine procedures for repair
    • Ability to determine extent of direct/indirect damage and direction of impact
    • Build estimates according to GAA standards, using Audatex and Mitchell-on Demand estimating software
    • Exceptional customer service
    • Tactful negotiator
    Education:
    • Automotive Technician Certification preferred
    • Valid Adjuster license as required by provincial regulatory agency
    • Post-secondary education
    • Provincial claims adjusting license (BC,AB,QC) or willingness to complete certification within first 18 months of employment
    Experience:
    • 3+ years automotive service experience
    • 2+ years claims adjusting experience an asset
    • 2+ years contact centre experience an asset
