Job Description

We are looking for a Consumable Materials Coordinator to join our Purchasing Department. If you are passionate, self-motivated and would like to work for one of the leading companies in the promotional items industry, we invite you to apply!Main functions of this role include but are not limited to the following tasks:

  • Work in conjunction with production and warehouse teams to evaluate new products for cost savings and improvements to processes
  • Update and maintain database for product info
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships
  • Analyze purchasing and usage patterns for consumable products used in our business, with goals to reduce costs, improve productivity and efficiency
  • Identify possible better/new products for the company needs
  • Determine economic order quantity and order cycle for all items
  • Place purchase orders with vendors for all consumable products / follow up on orders, and provide communication and feedback to original requesting department as needed to advise of any delays or changes in estimated time of arrival of products
  • Ensure that documents are complete, accurate and matching (invoice/packing list/purchase order) before they are provided to accounting department for processing
  • Maintain physical consumables inventory accuracy.
  • Inventory management and distribution of office supplies.
  • Work with the purchasing team to assist in document review and upload of inbound inventory shipments/ assist in processing receipts and costing for inventory shipments
  • Coordinate and track purchase orders and shipments of machinery with R&D team
Skills/Requirements:
  • 2 years relevant procurement knowledge
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Organizational skills
  • Exceptional team player
  • MS office software – intermediate
  • Inquisitive, with solid problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize autonomously
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Bilingual; French, English
Assets:
  • Experience with Netsuite ERP
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or import environment
