Some of our products are quite complex due to many possible configurations and components, so we absolutely need someone who can keep track of a lot of details. The main focus of this role is helping us scale our e-commerce and wholesale order fulfillment and inventory management. As well, this role will provide opportunities to gain multidisciplinary experience across the business and to grow with us.Core Responsibilities- Ensure customer and wholesale orders are processed, carefully prepared, beautifully packaged and quickly shipped- Optimize internal procedures and workflows to help our fulfillment team be more efficient, while minimizing errors- Design and implement quality control processes for inventory receiving, to make sure items are carefully inspected, accurately accounted for, prepared and ready to ship- Coordinate stock receiving, kits and assembly and stock counts- Utilize warehouse management software including but not limited to Shopify, Dear Inventory, Shipstation, Freshdesk and Trello to help scale our operations effectively- Help us create a beautifully organized and intuitive warehouse space, to keep merchandise in good condition and easily located- Gather and maintain knowledge of our products & offerings, to the extent that it supports effective order fulfilment and organization of product components- Maintain appropriate levels of packing and office supplies, leveraging insight into planned events, sales trends and seasonality- Handle administrative responsibilities as neededRequirements- Experience in office support, fulfillment, shipping, or inventory management- Available weekdays 9am-4pm for a total of 30-40hrs per week- Work on-site in our St-Lambert office location alongside our operations manager and fulfillment associates- Very detail-oriented and organized- Takes personal pride in work quality and individual growth- Comfortable working independently- Able to leverage computer software to more effectively complete assigned tasks- Full proficiency in English language required- Occasionally drop off packages to nearby UPS or Canada Post locations for rush orders- Ability to handle packages from small envelopes to boxes ranging up to 50 pounds- Interest in knitting/crochet/crafts a plusJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 30-40 per weekSalary: $18.00-$22.00 per hourAdditional pay:
