The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.Your challenge is here!**Temporary position of 12 to 18 months**Under the supervision of the Area Finance Director and as part of the Cascades Packaging Boxboard - Head Office finance team, the Finance and Administration Technician will have to respond to various requests from the Head Office teams as well as produce reports to respond to requests from the corporate team.Your responsibilitiesEnter approved CAPEX amounts into Longview and maintain the monthly tracking file;Manage approval levels and system access in the RACM tool for all Head Office teams;Produce month-end reports by cost center;Respond to various annual requests for information from corporate departments such as taxation;Complete the different reports of Statistics Canada for the corporate entity Cascades Boxboard;Establish the accounting entries at the end of the month for certain types of transactions;Ensure the follow-up of invoices in the DMS for the head office teams;Proceed to the accelerated payment requests for the head office teams;Create purchase orders for head office teams;Perform quarterly tracking of entries into Longview by plants;Follow up on GR/IR in collaboration with the plant controllers.Your baggage and your strengthsHave a technical degree in accounting;Be bilingual (French and English), both written and oral;Have 3 to 5 years of experience;Master the Office suite, particularly Excel;Knowledge of SAP (strong asset);Be adaptable and agile in order to deal with various requests in an open manner.Cascades believes in the success of an inclusive organization that values diversity within its team.
