Today, we are a leader in medical imaging and informatics with over 200 specialists supporting more than 1500 hospitals and clinics across Canada.Job descriptionSummaryReporting to the Controller, you will analyse, interpret, and disseminate financial information in concrete and relevant terms according to the needs of the various parties and the goals to be achieved.Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze and maintain account reconciliations and balances for various accounts, including the bank reconciliation;
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end GL closing procedures,
  • Responsible to analyze, review and close sales for equipment in the project module,
  • Support for employees advances and expense reports, as well as review and process payments,
  • Assist with the inventory and cost accounting management, variance analysis and annual inventory count,
  • Prepare monthly analysis and reports to provide the necessary information for the publication of financial results,
  • Assist the finance department with the year-end audit from the external auditors,
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve the production and quality of information required for the Board, Trustees, Beneficiaries, Audit Committee, Executive Committee, including financial statements, quarterly reviews, year-end closure, budgets, projections, and strategic plan,
  • Complete predictive analyses of the financial needs of the company, as well as contribute to the planning and execution of the various cash management and foreign exchange risk management initiatives,
  • Protect company assets, ensure compliance, optimize resource utilization, ensure cost effectiveness, and manage risk. Provide solutions to problems, manage contingencies, and implement preventive measures,
  • Contribute to the performance of the entire finance department by demonstrating its agility and offering support to its colleagues by performing various accounting related tasks.
Desired profileQualifications and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and an accounting designation (CPA) or in process of obtaining it or equivalent experience,
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a similar position,
  • Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written,
  • Advanced skills with the MS Office suite (mainly Excel) and knowledge of Microsoft AX an asset.
