It is privately held and has achieved high double digit annual growth and profitability since its inception.Job DescriptionReporting to the Operations Training Manager, the Fulfillment Center Trainer is an active member of the FC Team, supporting the development, execution and hosting the training sessions of the Physical Training Academy in the SSENSE Fulfillment Center, fostering a positive impact on key business outcomes such as safety, customer experience, employee engagement, quality and cost.ReponsibilitiesTraining (85%)

  • Host onboarding and reinforce technical training to the Fulfillment Center employees.
  • Execute all technical training for Associates and Coordinators in the FC, and foster a strong commitment to a culture of operational excellence, quality obsession and lean thinking.
  • Maintain work instructions, job aids and training materials required to enhance employee learning.
  • Collaborate on the development of an ambitious cross-training program by partnering with our People and FC leadership team.
  • Maintain rosters of training progress, assessments and examinations, as well as certification records, in compliance with organization-wide training policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain all annual compliance training requirements.
Program Development (15%)
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus in all areas and instill the principles of this culture.
  • Work with Managers and peers on the implementation of continuous improvement strategies.
  • Support the development of dynamic training programs and supportive learning tools, including, but not limited to, the use of data and analytics to measure and maintain consistent, focused and successful training and development of our Associates by all training resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent Facilitation certification
  • 3+ years relevant facilitating training experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French, with the ability to detail processes in a simple and concise manner making information easy to understand and engaging at all levels.
  • Proven experience teaching a variety of tasks in supply chain logistics, operations, or education.Must have a strong ability to create, organize and execute a plan with a collaborative and creative approach.
  • Flexible working schedule, including weekends, day, evenings, nights, and overtime (mandatory requirement).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office / Google Suite application abilities, including Excel / Google Sheets, PowerPoint / Google Slide, Word / Docs, and Google Forms is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment and warehouse operating systems is desirable.
