Your responsibilitiesAs an information security analyst, your goal is to support your business unit in a fun and positive way! To do this, you will be required to:
  • Collaborate with business units and other functions to identify information security risks and requirements;
  • Participate in governance, control and compliance functions through audits and exception and acceptance processes;
  • Ensure the application of external standards (e.g. PCI DSS, SOX, PIPEDA, etc.) as well as Cascades internal standards in accordance with our security practices;
  • Contribute to the implementation of new security tools and their management;
  • Participate in functions related to the information security analysis role, such as
  • Develop and implement information security solutions to mitigate risks;
  • Support our information security systems;
  • Develop and schedule vulnerability testing and monitoring;
  • Participate in incident resolution as a member of the Agile team.
  • Will partner with cross-functional teams to monitor and assess our cloud network, server and service architecture;
  • Perform and automate various recurring security checks.
  • Participate in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.
Your background and strengthsSpeaking the truth and having a good heart are pillars of Cascades, and values that we hope to find in our future colleagues.In the information security analyst position, you will be able to demonstrate your other qualities and skills, such as ideally:
  • Five (5) years of experience in IT, including two (2) in IT security;
  • Knowledge of anti-virus, anti-spam, security event correlators, data protection systems and available technology tools;
  • Experience evaluating IT security controls against industry best practices and implementing security architectures in an on-premises and public cloud environment (AWS and Azure);
  • Have experience analyzing Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Yammer, Planner, Teams, OneDrive, etc.);
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, MFA (multi-factor authentication);
  • Excellent command of English, good command of French;
  • CSX, CISSP, GIAC, CCSK, CCSP or equivalent certification (an asset).
Additional informationThe position can be based in St Bruno or Kingsey Falls.
