Job Description

Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.Our ABB plant in Iberville, Canada is seeking a candidate for an intern as a Quality Project Manager. The intern will report directly to the Quality Project Manager.Your responsibilities

  • Take charge of a large-scale project related to Quality Assurance activities aimed at modeling the manufacturing templates used in production.
  • Propose and deploy efficient solutions to the Quality department.
  • Use the DMAIC method for project management.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the plant as needed.
  • Master and improve the calibration process.
  • Review project progress weekly with the Quality Department Manager.
Your background
  • 1 or 2 university internships in mechanical or industrial engineering;
  • DEC in mechanical engineering;
  • Good skills in 3D modeling (Catia, Inventor, Solidworks, etc.);
  • Mastery of Solidworks software (a must);
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach and strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Autonomous in prioritizing and results-oriented;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
