Job Description

Logistics Coordinator and Sales Support.We are looking for not just anyone, but someone that brings passion and a genuine interest to go above and beyond and make our Buyers shine in front of their bosses. Remember, one cant have an exceptional company ,unless there are exceptional people working at the company. Are you exceptionalWe require at least 1 year experience in a similar position.We are in the medical supply distribution business with our office located near Ikea. This is an at work position, Monday through Friday. We primarily sell internationally, so while French is not required, a strong command of English is.The role is split between logisitics and customer service. Some of the key responsibilities are listed below.Logistics Coordinator:

  • Arrange domestic and international transportation
  • Maintain, grow and strengthen relations with existing logistics vendors as well as evaluate and recommend the onboarding of new vendors.
  • Ensuring all orders are dispatched and assigned for pickup on the appropriate ship date to meet promised delivery dates
  • Creating and transacting all shipments to ensure that all shipping paperwork (Bills of Lading, Picking Slips, export documents etc.) is generated on a timely basis, distributed accurately, contains accurate information and is appropriately retained for Custom audit purposes
  • Research rates with current shipping vendors and potential shipping vendors as well as validate all invoices for payment.
  • Provide updated status of delivery dates with customers
Sales Support:
  • Regularly analyze margins to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure that margins are not decreasing and evaluate means to improve margins
  • Analyze key accounts as to their activity of movement of products and profitability
  • Help on-board new customers
  • Improve profitability through purchasing and shipping( inbound and outbound)
  • Assist in sourcing alternative suppliers as well as sourcing new products for customers.
