Job Description

About our company: Pathogenia Inc is a fast-growing full-service analytical laboratory serving the Food, Medicinal cannabis, Pharma, Consumer goods and Environmental industries.About the opportunity: Pathogenia Inc is looking for an experienced Microbiologist with strong knowledge of microbial IDs and experiences in working in a GMP laboratory for their Saint Laurent laboratory.Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing the Microbial Examination Test in a timely fashion
  • Execute microbiology methods and validation protocols.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with GMP procedures
  • Maintaining and qualify microbial stock cultures
  • Performing environmental monitoring air, surface monitoring of rooms and water systems (purified and potable) microbial monitoring
  • Participates in Laboratory Investigations, Out of Specification Investigations, Change Control and CAPA programs
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or relevant discipline
  • Good theoretical and practical knowledge of microbiological techniques
  • Knowledge of Microbial IDs and investigations
  • Must be able to multi-task and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge and experience of GMP guidelines, quality systems as well as USP and EP Pharmacopeia standards
