Job Description

Key tasks:

  • Drive the planning and implementation of a multi-region networking service supporting the new business unit
o Co-ordinate all teams required, including architecture, contracts and IT technical specialistso Ensure that long-term support models are established with key stakeholders and processes implemented by the relevant teams
  • Execute the implementation of standard office infrastructure (network, servers) for additional sites as required
  • Plan, co-ordinate and track processes and support activities for the new business community – this includes ongoing software license packaging, deployment as well as laptop deployments or recovery as needed
  • Track all requests from the new business unit that requires traditional IT support, and ensure those requests are prioritised with the various fulfillment IT teams, as needed to support overall timelines
  • Manage project timelines, budget, risks, assumptions and dependencies
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, roadblocks and updated estimates to IT management and business stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years project management experience in an IT environment
  • Strong verbal, written skills in English (French is not required but is an asset)
  • Self-motivated with a tolerance to ambiguity and change
  • Assertive, holding the team to planned dates
  • Experience navigating standard IT Operational groups and processes is an asset (e.g. Licensing, Asset deployments, Account integrations, etc.)
  • Experience with Network infrastructure projects is an asset, including cloud on-ramps such as ExpressRoute or DirectConnect
  • Experience working with Software development teams that deliver cloud-based solutions is an asset
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services is an asset
Additional notes:
  • Remote : Yes possible, working within EST timezone
  • Work hours: Standard business hours, off-hours may be needed ad-hoc to support calls in other timezones
Job Type: Fixed term contractPay: $65.00-$70.00 per hourBenefits:
