Under the supervision of the manager, property management, the property administrator manages payments in lieu of taxes (PILT), coordinates, negotiates, analyzes and prepares PILT to be paid to the taxing authorities. Acts as responsible for the internal services of the Montreal Port Authority (MPA), tenants and taxing authorities in matters of PILT according to the applicable federal law, property taxes, updating of data entered in the land rolls and valuation of real estate. He coordinates the real estate transaction process and updating the MPA real estate inventory.In addition, the incumbent prepares, writes and supports the negotiation of rental contracts for a portfolio of real estate contractual agreements. It administers, coordinates and manages a real estate portfolio made up of land and port, industrial and commercial buildings. He receives, helps, advises, coordinates and monitors requests from MPA tenants. He coordinates the computerized management of contractual agreements for the entire territory. Finally, he carries out analyzes and prepares and writes studies, reports and other documents for the internal services of the MPA, relating to the management and rental of buildings.
