Job Description

We are looking to hire 2 Shippers in our Shipping Department to join our team.One on the day shift 7:00 – 3:00 and one on the evening shift 3:00 – 11:00.Reporting to the Shipping Manager, Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare documents for customs entry – accurately and completely
  • Ensure shipments meet compliance with government agencies (FCC FDA, etc.)
  • Scheduling shipments for both small parcel and LTL
  • Book pickups and delivery dates
  • Performs other tasks in his/her area of expertise
Skills/Requirements:
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Familiar with scan guns and WMS system
  • Organized, punctual, reliable, a team player
  • Solid multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Good computer skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience with international shipping, customs, and trade regulations a great asset.
  • Experience with Shipping platforms – UPS connect, Purolator e-ship/eship server, Fedex ship manager, 2Ship a great asset.
  • Bilingual
