C’est pourquoi nous avons besoin de votre expertise et de votre passion pour compléter notre équipe!Au sein dune équipe dynamique, le spécialiste en logiciels de systèmes de mouvements et de sons a comme mandat de modéliser et tester les vibrations, accélérations et sons ambiants de simulateurs de vol commerciaux et militaires, afin de reproduire de manière fidèle lenvironnement perçu dans le vrai avion ou hélicoptère. • Opportunités fréquentes de travailler dans les simulateurs directement. (Et même de piloter!)
• Analyse, conception et intégration de l’environnement sonore et des effets de mouvement du simulateur de vol (turbulence, vibrations, accélérations, effets spéciaux)
• Analyse fréquentielle des sons et vibrations mesurés.
• Conception et implémentation des modèles informatiques en temps réel pour reproduire les divers effets sonores et vibrations de l’aéronef.
• Réglage subjectif dans le simulateur auprès de pilotes dessai.
• Interaction directe avec le client chez CAE et à linternational.
• Préparation des plans de vol des vols d’essais, pour des mesures sur les vrais aéronefs.
• Travail de quart et voyages internationaux occasionnels (environ 10% à 15% de lannée à lextérieur).

• Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie logiciel, informatique, électrique, mécanique, ou physique, ou domaines connexes.
• Compétent en programmation (C/C++) dans un environnement Windows.
• Connaissance des domaines suivants constituerait un atout : programmation en temps réel, théorie acoustique, traitement numérique du signal, analyse de signaux numériques (théorie d’échantillonnage, transformée de Fourier), vibrations et technologie audio numérique générale.
• Excellentes aptitudes dorganisation et de gestion du temps de façon à pouvoir mener de front plusieurs projets en parallèle.
• Bonne capacité communicationnelle, entregent et joueur déquipe.
• Le bilinguisme est un atout important.
• Disponibilité pour faire des quarts de travail et effectuer des voyages internationaux à loccasion.

That’s why we need your expertise and passion to complete our team!Within a dynamic team, the motion and sound system software specialist is responsible for the modeling and test of vibrations, accelerations and ambient sounds in commercial and military aircraft simulators, in order to reproduce with high fidelity the environment in the real aircrafts. • Frequent opportunities to work on the flight simulators directly. (Even to fly!)
• Analysis, design and integration of flight simulator sound and motion simulation models.
• Frequency analysis of measured sounds and vibrations.
• Design and implementation real-time simulation models for reproducing the various aircraft sound and vibration effects.
• Subjective tuning of the sound and vibration effects with test pilots.
• Direct interaction with the customer both at CAE and at the customers site, internationally.
• Preparation of flight plans for recordings in real aircrafts.
• Periodic shift work and international travel (around 10% to 15% travel per year).

In accordance with CAE’s Epidemic/Pandemic vaccination policy, as the work to be performed occurs on a customer site where vaccination is required by the Government of Canada, there is a condition of employment to be fully vaccinated.Our ideal candidate has:

• Bachelors or masters in software, computer, electrical, mechanical, physics engineering, or similar domains.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming in a Windows environment.
• Knowledge in the following areas is considered an asset: real-time programming, acoustic theory, digital signal processing (DSP), digital signal analysis (sampling theory, Fourier transform), vibrations and general digital audio technology.
• Excellent organization and time management skills in order to manage many projects in parallel.
• Good communication, spirit and teamwork skills.
• Bilingual is an important asset.
• Available to perform shift work and international travel from time to time.
• CAE employees must be able to meet the requirements of the Canada Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and in certain cases, ITAR requirements.
