In that spirit, we seek a passionate Talent Development Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Wellbeing Officer, you will support several Talent Development programs and tools. More specifically, you will evaluate, develop, and deploy various initiatives across the areas of performance, talent development and growth, and career evolution at ISAAC.Responsibilities

  • Nurture a learning culture within ISAAC, ensuring that training and development activities are linked to the organization’s Strategic Plan
  • Coordinate and support talent programs and tools, such as talent and succession assessment, leadership assessment and development, quarterly appreciation review cycle process, and individual development planning as required
  • Coordinate and administer high potential leadership development program activities
  • Develop and implement career models via an integrated talent project
  • Ensure ongoing development of tools and resources to plan, track and support colleagues’ growth and development
  • Support logistics and maintain documentation, tools, and processes for delivering talent management programs
  • Oversee assessments and other processes to measure and ensure the effectiveness of learning and development programs and drive continuous improvement
  • Implement metrics to measure training programs completion, impact, effectiveness and return on investment (ROI)
  • Follow up with new employees to ensure orientation and onboarding activities are completed and that they are comfortable in their new role
  • Be the point of contact for all talent management programs for all ISAACians
  • Assist in the implementation and training of the new human resources information system (HRIS)
  • Establish and maintain change management and training advisory/consultative relationships with key stakeholders to gather input on training and development needs, effectiveness of programs, etc.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, current growth and development trends, as well as long-term trends in talent development data, providing recommendations to Senior Leadership and key stakeholders to support decision making
  • Work on projects and other duties as assigned.
In partnership with the Training team:
  • Perform training needs assessments and provide training solutions to include, implementation, administration, and/or design and deliver high-quality programs that engage, align, inform, and inspire colleagues in support of business strategy, goals, and initiatives
  • Build, implement and deliver courses in line with business strategy using learning principles and interactive on-line or in-person learning models
  • Coordinate training schedules, track administration and completion of training to ensure that expectations are met, and provide reports to leaders as required
  • Develop procedures and processes, ensuring any changes are incorporated into existing and new-hire training
  • Communicate with facilitators, attendees, and internal stakeholders in a clear and timely manner to ensure the smooth running of learning programs
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure efficient systems of learning, record keeping, reporting, and maintain up-to-date training and orientation records on all colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Human-centered approach and growth mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources combined with a minimum of ten (10) years of expertise in talent development
  • Knowledge of talent management and leadership development design and solutions (competency development & assessments, career development, etc.)
  • Propensity in coaching and mentoring
  • Capability in building working relationships organization-wide
  • Strong planning, project management, and change management capacity
  • Experience in implementing and managing documentation, processes, tools, and programs
  • Competency in analyzing data, identifying trends, providing insights and recommending solutions
  • Fluently bilingual (French and English) and effective communicator
  • Resourceful, with a strong sense of initiative
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Solid sense of confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes is an asset.
