  • Works with end user device engineers and customers (internal, external, and vendors) to understand Endpoint Support requirements.
  • Provides feedback regarding requirements and provides recommendations.
  • Provide technical assistance and desktop support to both internal and remote associates
  • Coordinates the deployment of new or upgraded images, software and hardware for multiple endpoints.
  • Plans and schedules the installation and deployment projects.
  • Participates in deployment of new or upgrade information technology and infrastructure projects, including assisting co-workers and vendor partners.
  • Installs and performs repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Submits or updates configuration items within management tools.
  • Develops and documents procedures for performing configuration changes, updates and upgrades.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
  • Vendor management skills include the ability to interface, support and coordinate work with external vendors in support of our business and client requirements.
  • Implement desktop/server upgrades and enhancements as per technology life cycles and in compliance with change management policies
  • Document, track, and monitor incidents/problems ITIL Incident Management to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Inventory management include the ability to ensure sufficient inventory levels are kept up to date
  • Supports IT inventory/asset management processes
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of computer supplies and parts
  • Perform Stockroom audits
  • Will support onboarding/off boarding process specific to new hires, terminations & internal move
  • Coordinate arrangements for repair of malfunctioning computer equipment with vendors.
  • Will configure and process User configurations for hardware and software
  • Will provide 2nd level end-user support such as user ID administration, reset passwords, unlock user accounts as required
  • Demonstrates excellent trouble shooting skills to quickly isolate and identify the root cause of underpinning incidents.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures and standards.
  • Makes suggestions for policies and procedures and standards for Endpoint operational processes.May be required to be on standby/ on call as part of this role.
What your background should look likeEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Requires training in fields such as, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor’s Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education;
  • 6 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator required;
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or MS Certified Desktop MCDSTITIL V3 certificate
  • Proven experience with TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, wireless and a working knowledge of secure VPN’s and Cisco Firewall
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strives to deliver customer service
  • Proven ability to multi-task and to prioritize various requests based on business importance. This is consistent with a fast paced environment with shifting priorities;
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills;
