Job Description

SureWerx is a national supplier of tool, equipment and safety product lines for the Canadian and US markets. Our range of products include: abrasives, air tools, hand tools, material handling, lifting equipment and safety apparel and products. SureWerx USA headquartered is in Elgin, Illinois, the Canadian location is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada with six branch offices located in the major cities across Canada.We are looking for a permanent full time General Warehouse Associate, who will be working at our Montreal branch working from Monday to Friday.Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload and move products by hand or with basic material handling equipment;
  • Operate a variety of equipment to unload and load and move products;
  • Weigh products, wrap goods and pack and unpack products;
  • Process incoming requisitions which includes picking, checking and packing orders;
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents;
  • Shipment of orders;
  • Restock bins;
  • Maintain and organize inventory;
  • Use inventory control system to locate information, search orders or investigate discrepancies;
  • Clean warehouse constantly;
  • Other general warehouse duty as required.
Skills & Qualities:
  • Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products up to 50 and team lifts for products weighing more
  • Ability to operate industrial lift trucks, pallet jack, and forklifts;
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written);
  • Detail oriented;
  • Ability to work at a fast pace;
  • Significant use of memory;
  • Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system and scan gun picking;
  • Team player with a positive attitude;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Steel-toed safety boots required;
  • One year of related experience preferred but not required
