Job Description

A Canadian leader in the sporting goods industry located in St. Laurent is looking to expand its team with the addition of a Warehouse Clerk/Printer Operator. This combined position will begin immediately and continue year-round.Warehouse Clerk: This job will focus on packing and shipping packages both effectively and efficiently. It will be imperative to maintain speed while ensuring that all products associated with the sales order are packed correctly and safely. The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for shipping the sales orders according to company and customer guidelines.Laser Printer Operator: As the Printer Operator you will operate and maintain our Logojet laser printing machine, used to print bottles and golf balls. The candidate will produce high quality printed products, prepare art files, set up print templates, and create color matches for approval. Work in a team environment and co-ordinate orders with customer service and production dept.Essential functions: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Measuring, weighing cartons, and counting products associated with sales order verifying pack slip).
  • Shipping packages – knowledge of UPS, Canada Post, FedEx.
  • Communicate in English and French
  • Computer skills: MS Office, Adobe CC, Rip software, Pad system
  • Detail oriented on every project to meet production deadlines.
  • Adhere to Quality Control (QC) procedures that meets the company standards and that of our customers.
  • Work under pressure, adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your own work and flourish in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Requirements for this position:
  • Good communication, strong reading skills, as well as comprehension.
  • The ability to troubleshoot minor issues and ask questions about larger problems.
  • Strong team member (ability to work well with others and change tasks to help the team).
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or other inventory handling environment would be an asset.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to take on new challenges
  • Self-motivated, a fast learner and show initiative
