Job Description

Acadia Broadcasting is a growing media company with radio stations in Atlantic Canada and Northwestern Ontario. In each of our markets, our company focuses on being the community #39;s local voice for entertainment, news, and events.We are looking for Regional Promotions Manager for our four radio stations across Southern New Brunswick. This position is based out of Saint John, NB with travel at times to Moncton and St. Stephen. This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant company that has a large impact in our province. The position is responsible for promoting our station to listeners and advertisers, and working collaboratively with programming, sales, creative and news in each of our stations.Responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for a sales budget associated with our community partners.
  • Lead the discussions with community partners to build new and creative online and on-air promotions.
  • Co-ordinate all station promotional events and contests.
  • Manage the brand through our various digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and our direct websites.
  • Create and manage partnerships with key community leaders and organizations to grow our stations and strengthen our communities.
  • Participation and attendance at key events to ensure successful delivery of the event.
  • Manage and coach our summer street team when applicable.
What we are looking for:
  • Experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector would be an asset.
  • Experience in sales would be an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in marketing or public relations preferred.
  • Experience managing or leading a team.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
  • Ability to travel with a valid driver #39;s license.
  • Able to work well on a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
