THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the FALL 2022 Semester for AEC Applied Accounting and Administration (AAA-01) DAYTIME October 24, 2022 to December 23, 2022 (9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm).TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12)COURSE: 410-A65-ABTITLE: Intro to the accounting professionHOURS: 75SECTION(S): one (1)N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.DISCLAIMER: Courses to be delivered in a Hybrid, online or onsite format.QUALIFICATIONSBUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (410) FINANCE AEC (CFM)EDUCATION:Masters or equivalent degree in Business Administration (MBA) OR; Masters level degree in a related field OR; Bachelors or equivalent degree and a CPA/CA designation AND a current member in good standing of CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants).EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant business and industry experience.
  • Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level PREFERRED.
  • Excellent English communication skills required. Bilingual (English/French) candidates PREFERRED
Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC.
