Job Description

THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the WINTER 2022 Semester for the DAYTIME– Full Stack Developer (FSD-03) February 15 - June 27, 2022 (8:30-12:00 and 12:30-14:30).TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12)COURSE: 420-WD4-AB*TITLE: Web ServicesHOURS: 60SECTION(S): one (1)N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.DISCLAIMER: Courses will be offered in an online or blended format until further notice.For Computer Science (420) Full Stack Developer:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent* degree in Computer Science or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years appropriate professional/industrial experience PREFERRED;
  • Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level PREFERRED;
  • Excellent English communication skills REQUIRED;
  • Some testing may be REQUIRED.
  • Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems
  • In addition to above:
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR COURSES:420-WD4-AB Web Services;
  • Knowledge of JavaScript required
Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC.
