Job Description

THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacanc(ies) for the WINTER 2023 Semester.DEPARTMENT: NURSINGDISCIPLINE: NURSING (180)TYPE OF CONTRACT: Contract representing full-time workload or chargé de cours contract.# OF VACANT POSTS: FOUR (4) = 3 at 100% ; One (1) at 80%AREA OF EXPERTISE: The workload of each teacher includes the tasks according to Clause 8-4.01 a) Volet 1.)QUALIFICATIONS: NURSING (180) CHARGES

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent* degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
  • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred.
  • Must be registered and a current member in good standing of “l’Ordre des Infirmières et Infirmiers du Québec”
  • Ability to collaborate within a departmental team to achieve common objectives
  • Excellent English communication skills essential
  • Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education system
NB:1. ALL CONTRACTS ARE PART-TIME UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.2. ALL WORKLOADS WILL BE DETERMINED BY USING THE RULES AS STATED IN ANNEXE 1-1 (DETERMINATION DE LA CHARGE INDIVIDUELLE DE TRAVAIL) OF THE COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT.3.
