Job Description

Supervisor Planner – Maintenance EnergyPermanent positionpositions to fill 1Code ME 21- 05Work Location in Nunavikdeadline to apply December 1st 2021The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks paid to rest.Privileges & benefits

Future challengesReporting to the General Foreman Energy, the Supervisor-Planner is responsible for his sector of activity and his main responsibilities are:
  • Ensure work scheduling meets the planning of the operations, plan shutdown, and manage unforeseen break downs.
  • Recommends changes to procedures to improve work methods and increase productivity in the short and long term.
  • Manage and mobilize the team, including mechanics-operators.
  • Manage and mobilize a fleet of generators.
  • Ensure that the computerized system is kept up to date.
  • Plan, monitor and improve the preventive maintenance program.
  • Produce various weekly and monthly reports; Produce KPIs for the department.
  • Organize and manage the department to respond adequately to the various requests.
  • Plan the different repair works; Make requests for parts
  • Evaluate the downtime for maintenance and repairs of equipment
  • Evaluate downtime for equipment maintenance and repairs. Conduct performance evaluations.
  • Meet the companys health and safety requirements and recommendations.
  • Performs other related tasks associated with this position.
Profile required
  • Hold a DEC in a related technique with 10 years of experience related to the position, including 5 years in supervision.
  • Have experience in the operation and maintenance of a fleet of motorized equipment.
  • Good knowledge of Ms. Office and Caterpillar SIS and Cummins Quick serve software.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s licence.
Nice to have
  • Ability to learn and give training especially on computerized maintenance system COGEP and Knowledge of Guide IT.
  • Bilingualism (French and functional English).
