More Driven.IMMEDIATELY HIRING!! – APPLY TODAY!!General Description:Join our Team!!Salary: starting at $22.48 per hourThe Goodyear compounding center in Valleyfield is a supplier of rubber products to other Goodyear plants in North America employing nearly 200 people.Production OperatorReporting to the supervisor, the production operator will perform various tasks related to the operation of mixers for the Valleyfield mixing center. You will be assigned to duties on 12 hour rotating shifts day and night.Desired experience, training and skills

  • Relevant work experience
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable
  • Adhere to Goodyears attendance policy
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Be proactive in problem solving
Basic Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment contingencies
  • Ability to work any and/or 12 hour rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime if applicable
  • Basic computer skills
  • Fluent in French
