Job descriptionPOSITION TITLE: SHIFT MANAGER SUBWAY( Subway Restaurants)REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGERPOSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Shift Manager develops their team members so that they achieve their full Potential.
  • Shift Management
  • The Shift Manager supervises the operations of a shift to ensure that the restaurant operates in compliance with SUBWAY policies including customer service, food safety, product preparation, cleanliness, and store control standards are maintained. This may also include other responsibilities assigned by the store General Manager or Assistant General Manager. Exceptional customer service and full compliance with SUBWAY policies are major component of this position.
  • Customer Service
  • The Shift Manager oversees all aspects of their shift to deliver an EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE to every customer. Ensures all team members are offering same exceptional service.
TASKS AND COMPETENCIES: 1. Performs all tasks and responsibilities of a Sandwich Artist® as outlined in Sandwich Artist® job description2. Trains and consistently guides Sandwich Artists® and Senior Sandwich Artists® in their tasks and responsibilities.3. Enforces store control standards as outlined in the Operations Manual.4. Inspects equipment and storage facilities throughout a shift to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.5. Schedules and supervises staff as needed; working as part of the management team in the restaurant to develop a customer focused team while finding ways to increase sales.6. Performs paperwork duties as needed.7. Responsible for covering all shifts in store, either yourself or find staff to fill the shift.8. Other duties from time to time as assigned.PREREQUISITESEducation: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: A minimum of 2 years experience in QSR-style restaurant with supervisory responsibilities and with demonstrated communication and organizational skills. Must have minimum 3 years experience in Great customer service. Must have minimum 3 years, experience in leadership and motivation of a team.Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.Location: Must already reside in /and be authorized to work in Canada.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $14.75-$15.75 per hourBenefits:
