Job Description

Shambhala Music Festival is looking for Volunteers to work with various departments in the weeks leading up to the event. Help the festival come to life from behind the scenes!Most pre-show positions work Mon-Fri between June 27 - July 15 on the festival site outside of Salmo, BC. Youll work 40 hours in one of our volunteer weeks & receive a ticket to the festival!Perks of pre-show positions include 3 free meals per workday and free camping & showers among many others.Teams in need of volunteers are:

  • Site Maintenance - Got trades experience Help us prepare our site for the arrival of thousands!
  • Human Resources - Love organizing the chaos HR takes care of administrative tasks needed to welcome our Crew to the festival site, and check them in when they arrive.
  • Crew Kitchen - Food is the fuel of the festival. Kitchen volunteers assist with preparation, dishwashing and keeping our Crew Kitchen clean and tidy. Food Safe certification is an asset but not required.
  • Shambhalodging - Help set up our Shambhalodging zone! Pre-show Shambhaloding positions involve moderate to heavy general labor for landscaping and setting up campsites.
