Job Description

We are looking for Casual, Part-Time and Full-Time Housekeeping/Room Attendants to work at Lakeside Manor, our independent senior living community in Salmon Arm, BC. There are a variety of shifts available including mornings, afternoons, and overnight (12 hours 8pm-8am).This position pays $15.65 per hour plus a $0.50 per hour shift premium for afternoon and evening/night shifts. Position Overview
  • Responsible for cleaning and arranging tenant rooms and public areas in accordance to standards of excellence;
  • Delivers exemplary laundry services including both scheduled and non-scheduled assignments.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills;
  • Comfortable working alone or in a team environment, self directed approach, able to plan, and organize with minimal supervision;
  • Ability of meeting the physical requirements of the position;
To Be Considered:
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the housekeeping process and previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or retirement environment is considered an asset;
  • Comfortable working alone or in a team environment, self directed approach, able to plan and organize with minimal supervision;

  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays;
