Job Description

The Position:We’re looking for energetic, customer orientated people that will be versatile in the delivery industry, and want to be part of our success story.Wages: ***The pay range we’re offering will be based on the jobs being performed, individual & team performance.***

  • Dedicated Distribution runs (40-70 daily stops)
  • Delivery of large purchased items
  • Same Day Delivery
Requirements:
  • Clean BC Driver’s abstract
  • Class 5 Drivers License with no restrictions (Recommended)
  • Clean Criminal Record Check - including clearance for youth at risk. (successful applicants will be reimbursed)
  • Worksafe Approved Steel Toe Boots
  • Please note this job starts and ends in Nanaimo.

  • All vehicles are supplied with proper safety equipment and tools.
  • COVID Cleaning protocols and supplies provided.
Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to lift up to 65lbs unassisted or up to 150lbs with a handcart.
  • Must be able to self organize for efficiency
  • Must be able to work extended hours during peak events.
  • Must be able to complete pre/post checks on vehicles used and report any issues.
  • Must be able to maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
  • Must be able fill out daily paperwork
  • Must not be afraid of new Technology or old school paper systems
  • Must be able to work extended hours that is typical for this industry.

  • If you reside in the Nanaimo Regional District, this run will start at 0530 in Nanaimo Monday - Friday.
We may take into consideration if an applicant resides on Saltspring Island. First ferry over, load in Nanaimo and finish your day on Saltspring.Experience:

  • driver: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • BC Driver's License (required)
