Job Description

ServiceMaster Restore of Winnipeg remediates properties damaged by water, fire, mould, etc. We are looking for experienced Remediation Technicians who can lead crews independently to join our team. JOB DESCRIPTION:Lead a team to complete the tasks set out on work orders including but not limited to:

  • Stabilize damaged properties in emergency situations.
  • Clean up and demolition of affected building materials.
  • Remediation of mouldamp;/or asbestos containing materials.
  • Packing out contents as needed.
  • Clean residential and commercial properties damaged by water and fire, etc.
  • Read and record daily psychrometric readings.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years’ experience in the restoration industry.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Experience working with mouldamp; asbestos.
  • Constructionamp; demolition knowledge.
  • Capable of carrying at least 50lbs.
  • Willing to travel out of town for work when required.
  • Criminal record search upon hire.
  • Current valid driver’s license.
  • Current IICRC – WRT certificate.
  • Ownership of basic hand tools and cordless power tools.
ASSETS:
  • IICRC certifications such as: AMRT, ASD, FSRT, OCT, CCT.
  • Experience with contents tracking software such as Encircle or Assured Pack-out.
  • Construction experience.
  • First Aid Certification.
