Job Description

Job Summary:As a Shop andEquipment Maintenance Technician at ACG Construction, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on our vehicles and small equipment. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and have experience in basic body and machenical. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects by keeping our equipment in optimal working condition.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and small equipment, including but not limited to engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform basic body work and welding tasks to repair and maintain vehicle and equipment appearance and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory to ensure proper documentation and cost management.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and to minimize downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and performance.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance, with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of bodywork and welding techniques, with experience in both areas.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Valid driver #39;s license
