Job Description

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct work experience as a prepper.
  • Valid G driver’s license.
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, Able to Multi-task
Duties & responsibilities
  • Surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming
  • Light Body work for small repairs to assist body dept.
  • Assist in Paint booth to mask & un-mask vehicles
  • Learn and use UV primer system when appropriate for the job
  • Read, understand, and follow estimates. Check with senior tech for clarification if needed
  • Inspection of projects prior to refinishing to ensure all prep and repair work is complete to the quality required.
  • Apply masking to the bumpers, windows and trim for primer preparation.
  • Prepare the vehicle for paint; sanding, taping, and applying primer.
  • Clean and smooth surfaces before the application of primer and paint
  • Detailing of paint work such as inspection, touch ups, buffing and minor reassembly.
  • Responsible for maintaining shop equipment and tools
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment
