Full Job DescriptionAt Signature Lux Builders, Sarnia, we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, customer focused individual to join our growing business as a custom home builder general laborer.We offer a fun and supportive work environment. We provide practical training, proven process, and quality coaching to ensure that our team feel great about what they do every day.Permanent, full-time, year-round position offering a generous benefits package.We are a registered home builder, building one or two beautiful homes each year start-to-finish. A small, tight team that likes to win and improve every day by prioritizing safety, security, innovation, and efficiency. We prepare the lot, manage the layout and logistics of excavation/footings/foundation, THEN WE FRAME!, assist the sub-trades, prep for concrete floors, install windows/doors, cut the stairs, back-frame, manage and support the mechanical rough ins, build the decks, insulate, drywall, prepare flooring, trim and doors, aluminum and eaves, siding, build retaining walls and pathways, complete grading….celebrate a successful build, and start the next one! We have lots of toys, and tools, to help with the heavy lifting parts of the job. We provide clear expectations and systems to help you win with us.Our Mission Statement is simply ‘Our signature blend of luxury and detail sets us apart from others. Our team will bring confidence and passion to ensure clients are never left empty handed by sacrificing their vision in life’s most important purchases: Dream’.A minimum of one year experience working on the tools is required.All required training, uniforms, and tools to perform the job are provided. Pay rate of $19.00/hour during training, increased up to $26/hour once completed three-month probationary training.Benefits of working for Signature Lux.

The skills required for this are:
  • Be physically able to do some heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs), comfortable with heights, climbing ladders, and sometimes working in tight spaces
  • Have a positive, energetic personality – Have a great Integrity!
  • Be dedicated to exceptional in detailed work, organized and remain cool-headed
  • Believe in quality work and doing the job right
  • Have a valid G or G2 driver’s license with a clean driver abstract and be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have a cell phone with texting, voicemail, and data plan
  • Be able to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment
