And in a recent survey, 90% of Long View team members rated Long View as a good or great place to work!Are you passionate about IT, customer service and travellingWe are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Deskside Support Consultant for our Regina SK client to work onsite and provide end-user at the client site.A Day in the Life:

    • Create, manage, prioritize, and resolve tickets for issues pertaining to technical devices throughout the client site
    • Assist in the device management for security devices, kiosks, screen displays, parking systems, gate management, and other devices as needed
    • Escalate issues to the appropriate teams as required
    • Provide excellent customer service, phone demeanor, and documentation skills
    • Maintain security clearance as required by the client
    • Track personal time billings and report them in a timely manner
    What You Bring:
      • 3+ years of technical support experience in a deskside environment
      • Post-secondary education in a technical program
      • Strong foundation in customer service with excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
      • Experience troubleshooting in a Windows environment service desk role
      • Experience with local access to network, server and storage to assist the other support teams with rebooting devices, installation or removal, etc
      • Familiarity with Microsoft products
      • Experience with remote support for peripheral devices
      • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
      • Desire and ability to carry a mobile phone for clients and/or for Long View Systems support if required
      • Ability to move around campus 60%-80% of the day, providing support across various offices across a large area
      • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
      • Expectation to work primary from the client site
      • Ability to assist the Calgary deskside team with incident queue monitoring and management
      • Need to be able to lift up to 40 lbs
