They adapt and align efforts to achieve Neighbourly’s strategic and operational goals. This position drives consistent delivery upon existing standards, services, and programs to deliver maximized profitability and customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing, guiding, evaluating, and supporting regional training initiatives.
  • Identifying and implementing negotiable controls in the areas of deposits, cash, lottery, write-offs and outdates for both Front Store and Pharmacy.
  • Providing expertise and guidance in the areas of GL inventory analysis and trending, year end inventory processes, annual cycle counting and overall inventory best practices.
  • Taking the lead in regional communications to finance as it relates to operational processes.
  • Supports in identifying, developing, and implementing new strategies to continuously improve results, paying special attention to the areas of Margin, Labour, and Total Shrink.
  • Partnering with Regional Directors and District Directors to develop and implement Store-specific strategies that deliver results congruent with their assessed potential.
  • Optimizing the performance of Front Store and Pharmacy business processes and components by drilling down into performance gaps in KPIs, providing guidance, information, and direction to improve results.
  • Assists in achieving total store operational targets and supporting financial planning activities as it relates to profit and loss statements, recommending measures to attain target metrices – Front Store Margin, Labour, and Store Profitability.
  • Collaborating with senior management to set store operations strategies and tactical plans that accomplish company goals, facilitate business evolution, and implement processes necessary to effectively operate stores.
  • Communicating with Regional VPs, or designate, on progress, issues, and proposed solutions.
  • Participating in the annual budgeting process.
  • Coordinating regional SMAC team committee meetings and initiatives and leading the Front Store Manager Ambassador group and scheduling and running the FSMAG (SMAC Group) on a monthly (bi-weekly) basis.
  • Participating on the national SMAC committee acting as a contributor and as a liaison to the regional SMAC team and FSMAG group.
  • Following up on regional completion rates as it relates to compliance training on the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Provide stores with training on best practices when transitioning to Finestra and Autostar.
  • Assist stores implement controls procedures pertaining to daily cash outs and stock transfers. 
  • Work with the Company’s Front Store Inventory Manager on using Finestra tools for: inventory counts, reporting, generating month end reports, third party payer reconciliations, etc.  
  • Train Front Sore Managers on their daily, weekly, and monthly duties pertaining to Finestra.
