We provide construction solutions, consulting, and networking services to some of the largest service providers in the province.Job descriptionBasic job description:- Installation and routine maintenance of telecommunication towers- Building new towers- Basic rigging / hoisting- Installing and modifying antenna equipment.- Repairing /replacing any defective equipment that is on the tower.- Responding to / repairing outages- Troubleshooting tower equipment to locate potential or existing faults.- Traveling within western Canada- Work on client sites to install internet systems (grain terminals, potash mines, etc.)- Assembling / fabricating steel mounts based off of blueprints- Completing Safety DocumentainWorking Conditions:We are located in Saskatoon, but work on remote tower locations across Saskatchewan and Western Canada. As an Aerial Technician, you will need to be available/have the capabilities to travel.- We work 5 days a week (Monday-Friday), with potential for additional overtime on the weekends. A typical week would have you spending 2-4 nights in a Hotel. This position is physically demanding. All Safety equipment provided by employer.- Occasionally we travel out of province, during out of province work we typically work for 5-10 days straight.General Qualifications:- Comfortable climbing and working at heights up to 600 feet.- Valid Canadian Class 5 Driver’s License- Background knowledge construction and general hand tools- Adherence to onsite safety procedures.- Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to varying degrees of weather.- Construction or Telecommunications experience considered an asset- 1A / 3A License an asset- G endorsement on License an asset- Experiance with Skid Steer, MWP, Picker Truck, or Crane considered an asset- Tickets / paid training provided by companyJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $24.00-$35.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
