We have hundreds of plants and thousands of employees working across the United States and Canada. We are also part of Heidelberg Cement.Reporting to the Sr. Sales and Transportation Coordinator, this position is responsible for accurate, timely, and cost-effective dispatching of deliveries throughout Saskatoon, order processing, and customer service/support, along with identifying customers who present potential growth opportunities.What you’ll get to do

  • Receiving and processing aggregate delivery orders and payments
  • Interacting with customers to investigate and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure adequate staffing to meet distribution requirements
  • Providing support to depot scale and administrative staff
  • Create and distribute various reports including data entry
  • Advising customers regarding product and delivery options
  • Supervising hired haulers and managing hauler contracts, onboarding, and safety requirements
  • Liaising with trucking contractors for efficient scheduling of aggregate orders and to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain a clean work environment
Essential Experience and Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, post secondary an asset
  • Inside sales and/or dispatch experience is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Very effective oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Knowledge of aggregate materials, aggregate properties, and/or concrete products or other related construction industry experience an asset
  • JWS experience a plus, but not required
Work EnvironmentRole requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.Quick Apply
